Sharon Johnson is a Special Education teacher for PUSD in Peoria, Arizona. She was a photographer for Carnival Cruise Lines, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Walt Disney World, and had her own business doing weddings and events before she went back to school to go into the education field. It was during her graduate studies that she wrote Therapy Dog and Other Stories, a book written for young readers. She says, "I want people to enjoy my stories but most importantly to focus on the strengths of people with disabilities, not the weaknesses." This is Sharon's first book. "I had a great time writing these stories and I've already decided on what my next writing project will be, but everyone will have to wait and see."
